Product Description Mouse Trap is a fun-filled game of crazy mechanical gadgets and chain reactions! Race to the finish and nab your opponent's mouse before your own gets caught! Players take it in turns to roll the die and move their mouse the number of spaces. If a player lands on a 'build' space they must build part of the mouse trap, and take a piece of cheese! Once the mouse trap is built, a player landing on a 'turn crank' space can start the mouse trap! The trap begins with a crank which turns a set of gears, this then begins a series of stages which ends in a cage being lowered over the 'cheese wheel' space capturing mice in the spaces below it! The mouse caught in the Mouse Trap is then out of the game! The last surviving mouse us the champion! A great game for all the family! Suitable for 2 to 4 players.

Mousetrap review December 31, 2008 Holly go Lightly (UK) Mousetrap was in my view, a waste of money. It takes a long time to set up and the traps are unreliable and difficult to set. No fun for the children or the grown ups and resulted only in frustration.
Frustration December 13, 2008 Jonathan Weeks (Cambridge) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have found better flat packs to assemble. It took 3 adults, and two frustrated children 1 and a half hours to assemble.
Disappointment December 8, 2008 Ms. Karen Allen (East Kilbride, Glasgow United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like several other reviewers, I loved Mousetrap when I was a kid, and eagerly anticipated playing it with my own kids on Christmas day. But alas - it was the biggest disappointment of the day. We took it back to Argos on Boxing day. The fun of the original game was building the whole trap mechanism during the game. And it was entirely buildable. This new version - two adults (not unintelligent!) spent an hour trying to work out how to build the thing, without success. We gave up. Thankfully, Morrisons supermarket did a wee cheap version for a fiver, that was pretty much like the original Mousetrap.

Having owned and enjoyed mousetrap as a child I bought this game for mine. What a disappointment. The traps did not work and made the game zero fun. The game was in the bin within an hour.
Traps don't work November 19, 2008 R. Sales I bought this for my 5 year old, because this was one of my favourite games as a child. As others have said the loop the loop trap doesn't work, ever. I wrote to the manufacturer to complain and they offered a full refund. Although they didn't say I got the impression that this is a common complaint. I definately wouldn't recommend this game, although my daughter still loves it. I think I was more disappointed than she was.
