Awesome January 7, 2009 C. S. Smith (UK) I have just recieved the Sky Challenger Set and i am extremely pleased with the purchase. I would definetly recommend to anyone still in touch their immature side, like me :). Though they are hard to control at first and its a bit of a bummer when the batteries eventually run out, they are well worth the price, especially if your like me and you can have a little brother to shoot out of the skies!!!
great fun but not fragile! January 2, 2009 Dawn Smith (uk) My 11 year old son had this for christmas and the concept is brilliant. Fairly easy to fly but while one flies well, the other doesn't - seems to be a common problem in other reviews. As the point of this set is to have 2 copters flying and attacking each other, one non functioning one reduces the value of the product somewhat. On the plus side, the functioning one charges up quicker and flies longer than expected (using 2000 mAmp hrs rechargable batteries). If we can get it replaced with 2 functioning copters, i would give it full marks.
Great Fun! December 28, 2008 Alex Grose I got these for Christmas after finding them on the site. I thought that they would be a little bit of fun, but not brilliant. I was wrong. These helicopters are a very good laugh. You can fly them well enough to use after the first couple of minutes; leaning to fly them really well however takes two or three recharges. They are also very durable, I have flown mine into various walls, ceilings, floors and small children, and they still work, save for a bit of plastic taken out of one of the main propellers. They do take about two or three times as long to charge each time as you get flying time, if you follow the "wait ten or fifteen minutes after use before charging" rule in the booklet. The only disappointing thing about them was the fact that each controller (that the helicopters charge of) require 6 AA (LR6) batteries. I should have realised, but a bit disappointing on Christmas day as we didn't have enough. Overall, Thumbs up!
Hours of fun December 27, 2008 dive girl (england) I bought these for my hubby. He and his brother were occupied for the rest of Christmas day flying them around the room and trying to shoot each other down. If you buy them as a gift for someone, note what I didn't, which is that they need 12 AA batteries which are not included (thankfully my father-in-law had some and saved the day). The helicopters are quite stable and easy to fly, but it takes practice to master not flying them straight into the wall.
amazing December 27, 2008 Dr. B. A. Waites (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a ordinary picco z at the start and it didnt fly very well but then i got this for christmas and is great fun! Its easy to use and great to fly around the house however i would say they need to make another one with more charging space but over all this is a great toy and can be used for two people which is great! ****
