Mind his arms..! May 16, 2008 Miki_G (N'pton, England) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Doctor looks fab in his spacesuit with removable helmet and the lift looks good too and it's quite roomy. My kids can cram quite a few figures into it! My only niggle with it is that you have to be very careful with the Doctor's arms (The glove part) as they are not brillianly attached. In fact, we had to send for a replacement set when one of his hands came off whilst trying to carefully remove him from the box. So far, the replacement has been ok but do be careful with him... Nice little set though overall.
The Satan Pit -Lift,& DRWho in Space suit..helmet comes off! March 31, 2008 T. Gogerty (ENGLAND) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This model is very strongly built,I only had the one 'niggle' with it,and that was that just a little 'upsetting or disapointing' - that was that if the cable rollers attatched to the lift actuallty di go up and down,it would really improve the model!,as they do not actually move! - it would be a lot more 'exiting' if the lift could actually go up and down on its cable! Beside that small niggle, the lift if VERY WELL made, and a lot of detail has gone into it!..it is one 'BIG' item when placed with your other 5" Dr Who characters! I would recommend this product to any Dr Who fan,or anyone who even likes lifts!! :) as the lift door opens ,allowing the 5" figures to enter. It would also have been a nice litttle 'extra' if the Dr's torch actually worked ....i.e.have 1 small LED bulb, being powered by a battery button cell! All said and done,I would still give this model a 9 out of 10 !!! : ) Regards Terry.
